Pusha is a loving mom cat that rescued four orphaned squirrels from a park in Bakhchisaray, Crimea.
The squirrels arrived to the wildlife park when they were four weeks old and had yet to open their eyes. The park caretakers were well aware that the squirrels required a mother in order to thrive and develop.
Pusha the cat, thankfully, had lately given birth to a litter of four kittens. As a result, the team decided to test if Pusha would take the squirrel babies and care for them alongside her own children. It worked, much to their amazement! The squirrels were immediately adopted by Pusha, who treated them as if they were her own.
The abandoned young squirrels begin to love their new life with their adoptive mom and siblings after a short time. They are the most amazing family we’ve ever seen, sleeping, eating, and playing together!
Pusha was an excellent foster mother! Her devotion is so deep that the squirrels already see her as their mother. This family demonstrates that love knows no species barriers, and they now live as one happy family – kittens and squirrels alike!
