Fraser Was Rescued By A Shelter And Was Very Terrified, But The Help Of A Pug Was Enough For His Bright Personality To Come Out
In the UK, Fraser was adopted by the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home organization. Although he appeared formidable due to his chopped ears and tail, his new pals soon realized that he was not as threatening as he appeared. Everything scared the large dog.
Fraser had already experienced a lot in his little life, and the staff at the shelter was aware that his anxiety would put off potential adopters. He was so terrified that he wouldn’t even go for a stroll outside of his kennel.
Everyone wanted to do everything they could to assist him, and then someone came up with a brilliant suggestion.
The organization’s dog behaviorist, Elizabeth Kidd, decided to introduce Pancake, a 6-month-old pug, to Fraser in an effort to calm him down. Pancake was picked because of his friendly and self-assured demeanor.
Fraser was at ease the moment he met Pancake.
Elizabeth stated the following in a news release:
“Fraser and Pancake didn’t seem like the most natural partners, but it was endearing to watch how well they got along. Fraser learned how to be a fearless dog and to have greater self-confidence from Little Pancake.”
It’s sort of amusing how a small dog like Pancake was able to help a large dog like Fraser become more self-assured, but everything turned out great. As time went on, the fearful dog began to show his brilliant personality, and the dread subsided.
He didn’t look self-assured enough to be adopted when he first showed up at the shelter, but due to Pancake, he is now prepared to find a permanent home.
