Young Elephant Adoringly Greets Tractor Driver Every Day

“If you are not convinced that love can exist between humans and animals…watch this video.” That’s how the Elephant Nature Park introduces this sweet video of a baby elephant named Kham La and Darrick, the elephant sanctuary’s tractor driver.

Every time Kham La notices Darrick arriving she will race over to him with her herd following behind to say “hello”. As soon as he gets up close, she trumpets a loud “hi” and can’t wait to get a pet and a cuddle.

Kham La (which means “Darling”) was born in 2011 and she and her mom were rescued and brought to Elephant Nature Park to live in freedom.

One thing for sure, Darrick has the best job ever!
