Maple is an extremely active puppy that is always up to something enjoyable, such as swimming, skiing, or running about. Her mother decided to acquire her some gear to keep her safe and happy throughout her numerous travels because she spends so much time outside and on the run.
Maple’s mother, Jessica Dylan Mann, told The Dodo, “I wanted to get goggles because she swims entirely underwater with her eyes open and is usually hanging out the [vehicle] window/doing activities, so they went on sale on Black Friday and I got some.”
Mann started putting the goggles on Maple anytime she thought her eyes needed a little additional protection, and she even tried putting them on her when she was playing in the snow after a big blizzard. She put on the goggles and brought Maple outside, where she completely lost her mind when she learned she could “see” under the snow with her new goggles.
Maple was ecstatic and began digging into the snow like a gopher, ecstatic to discover a whole new universe. She had the happiest expression on her face every time she reappeared, and she couldn’t wait to plunge back in for more.
“You could immediately sense in her face and body language how happy she was to discover something new and have fun when she first learned she could see beneath the snow,” Mann added. “She’s always enjoyed the snow, but I’ve never seen her do the goggles-and-tunnel thing.”
Maple has discovered a new way to play in the snow thanks to the goggles, and she now looks forward to putting them on before each outside activity.
“When I say, ‘Ready for goggles!?’ she sprints over and calmly waits for me to put them on,” Mann explained.
