Bhadra, The Dog Thrown From A Rooftop By Medical Students Is Happy In A Forever Home

In July, shocking evidence of animal mistreatment was made public in Chennai, India. According to a horrific video that went popular on social media, some medical students threw a dog off the rooftop of a very tall building. In the video, a man is seen throwing a 5-month-old puppy from a rooftop while his accomplice records and he smiles at the camera.

The sound of the unfortunate animal screaming as it plummeted to the ground could be heard in the background. However, the puppy was discovered alive two weeks later, and although the fact that the viral nature of the video made it extremely upsetting, it helped police track down the persons who were guilty for the event.

People from all over wanted to adopt Bhadra after her story went viral, but she had to recover in a foster home in the Chennai slum of Ramapuram.

Prior to offering to take Bhadra home to care for her, Karthik Dhandapani, his caregiver, had never owned a pet. His mother, who lives with him, had also never been on board with owning a dog.

However, Bhadra’s rescuers just recently revealed that Dhandapani had made the decision to retain Bhadra, who is currently 7 months old, permanently.

Bhadra enjoys chasing crows just as much as she enjoys eating my mother’s chapati, according to Dhandapani.

Dhandapani claims that despite coming from a family with no connection to animals, he had wanted a dog for six years. However, this did not stop him from doing something for animals; he grew to love them and spent time with them outside but was unable to keep one at home.
