This Dog Has Lived In A School For 16 Years And The Students Have Even Paid For His Veterinary Treatments

Amarelo is a charming person who has a lot of goodwill and compassion for others. Although it is unknown how the dog ended up at the Dom Hermeto school, which is located in the town of Uruguiana, on the border of Brazil and Uruguay, in the state of Rio Grande do Su, no one could envision that location without him. He is adored and lavished with affection by everyone.

“He attended classes each day. early in the morning, late at night. Over time, despite their being no class on Saturdays, he eventually began to stand in front of the entrance. It came out that the pupils felt sorry for him.”

Even though the professors are unbothered by the dog’s presence in the classes, the children like having it as a classmate.

Seventh grader Maria Rita da Costa says:

«If he acts appropriately, nothing is lost. He behaves better than most people do.

Due to his advanced age, the dog is not in fantastic condition, and the students have demonstrated their affection for him in the most trying times. Last year, the kids organized a collection to earn money and cover the cost of his veterinarian care.

Geography professor Miguel Fábio da Silva said:

He has a preference for certain courses. Even if he has less absences than other of the pupils, I have no issue with his being present in the classroom when we teach the courses.

The dog currently takes medication, has had vaccinations, and wears a collar with information about the school in case he gets lost.

A sixth-year student named Taiele Costa Amaral said:

For us, amarelo is incredibly unique. He is only our pet. We were terrible while he was sick.
