Men Save A ‘Dog’ From The Frozen Lake And Take It To A Shelter Without Knowing It Was A Wolf

Last Wednesday, two guys were working on the building of a dam in Estonia when they began to hear an odd noise. They were eventually able to determine that the enormous dog had fallen into the frozen river Parnu.

Because the animal was unable to flee, the guys did not hesitate to go to his aid. They ran into the water, hauled him out, and covered him in a blanket before contacting a rescue group, who advised them to take him to a vet as soon as possible.

According to Bored Panda, the men were stunned to hear that it was not a giant dog but a wild wolf that had been frightened after slipping into the frozen river.

When the personnel arrived, the clinic professionals checked the animal and had no idea who they were dealing with. It was a local hunter who ultimately revealed that the frozen animal was a wolf, not a nice dog, as was previously assumed.

The wolf’s tameness about a year old was due to his low blood pressure at the time.

One of the rescuers, Rando Kartsepp, told Postimees:
