This Adorable And Mischievous Donkey Behaves Like A Dog Every Time His Adoptive Father Returns Home After Some Time

Walter is a sweet donkey who was raised on a farm with three German Shepherd brothers who were adopted. The endearing donkey has been acting like a family dog since he was a youngster, developing peculiar habits that make him immensely appealing to his family.

Since he was a little child, Kelly and Brad Blake, his adopted parents, brought him to their home in Arizona, in the United States. The sweet donkey had a challenging early life, but with the love of his new family, he was able to adjust to his new environment quickly.

Walter was too young, therefore his mother rejected him. For ten hours, the villagers and the Bureau of Land Management tried to convince Walter’s mother to accept him.

Since moving into his new home, Walter has managed to prosper greatly and has formed a close friendship with Brad. He now weighs more than 70 kg, lives with his three dog brothers, and is constantly showered with affection at home.

Brad says:

“We have three German shepherds, and they were all immediately smitten with Walter. They have assisted us in raising him and teaching him household manners.

Walter’s three canine siblings have always been around him, so many of his attitudes are rather distinctive, like the way he sleeps and the way he might act when he sees his loved ones returning from work.

It’s not unusual to watch the adorable donkey trot up to meet his father when he enters the house after a business trip and wag his tail with delight.

His dad continues:

“Walter behaves doggo-like. When we arrive home, he wags his tail and shows excitement. He stands up and leans on me in an expression of love. He even takes a nap right next to me on the couch. Walter runs with our shepherds as if he were a member of the pack every night when we all go for a stroll in the desert for exercise.

In addition to being a cute burrito with an odd personality, Walter also gives back to his community and works with his family to promote humanitarian causes; he even serves as an emotional support animal.

His parents like posting updates on his life on their Facebook page, where they narrate their amazing travels, and they are aware that others love him.
