Foal left In A Desert Field Makes The Most Miraculous Recovery Thanks To Love

Look at how someone treats animals to get a sense of who they are as a person by seeing how they handle animals.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of individuals who harbor wicked intentions and use them against helpless animals, subjecting them to terrible situations when they fall into the wrong hands.

Gizmo, a cute foal that was saved from certain death in the midst of an abandoned field, is the subject of our tale this time.

Gizmo’s owner abandoned him when he was just 4 months old; no one had seen him and because of the cold, the defenseless foal was freezing.

It wasn’t until RSPCA personnel intervened to save him and move him to Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic that they made place for him and looked to his recuperation despite the clinic’s inability to care for another foal at the time.

He had cold, dehydration, pneumonia, and as if those conditions weren’t already delicate enough, a colony of blood-sucking parasites had infiltrated every inch of his frail body, making it increasingly weaker and malnourished.

Although Gizmo’s recuperation appeared to be difficult, his caregivers never gave up. Little Gizmo’s health status was revealed by De Ella Catley Cross via her Facebook page:

“He was taken to Caltley to try to save him together with the RSPCA and local police. He is still in intensive care and is severely ill; however, he has resumed eating and is being fed through a drip line. He is also still unable to stand up.

Gizmo eventually showed positive signals and was able to recover from his serious condition.

Despite spending thousands of dollars on blood transfusions, antibiotics, and treating his bandages to cure his damaged skin, the colt turned out to be quite the fighter after spending two weeks in critical care.

The crew gave their all over the following few months to aid Gizmo in a full recovery.

He had a difficult recuperation process, but he is now a stunning horse that loves to run and interact with other horses.

Gizmo absolutely won over the hearts of every one of his rescuers, thus Catley Cross made the decision to adopt and care for him permanently.
