Adopted Boy Rescues Old Dogs That Need A Home Like Him

Robbie Gay, a 9-year-old kid from Palm Coast, Florida, goes to the Flagler County Humane Society on a monthly basis to assist senior puppies who are less likely to be adopted.

Because he lived through a similar circumstance and sees his tale reflected in them, the small child says that there is something in these creatures that he enjoys.

Maria and her husband Charles adopted Robbie two years ago. He currently lives a happy life surrounded by love, but his past was rough; he was even hospitalized twice with brain impairments as a result of his torture.

Maria, according to Cbsnews, said:

“He understands what it’s like to be unloved and uncared for. He is the most positive, optimistic, and really loving youngster, despite the fact that he has no reason to be.”

The youngster has always displayed amazing courage and had difficulty expressing his feelings, but the sacrifice of his dog, Buffy, broke his heart utterly. He wanted to hold her in his arms and adore her till the very end.

As he backed away from Buffy, he told Maria that he understands what it’s like to be unwanted and uncared for, which is why he doesn’t want another animal or child to suffer the same way.

Robby stated,

“People aren’t interested in elderly people or elderly dogs. They only want pets and babies.”

Mara is really proud of Robbie, and he is well aware that his life could have followed a different direction had it not been for the kindness of those who chose to offer him the opportunity to be happy. As a result, he want to continue on that path.
