Dog Stays Outside Hospital For Days Waiting For Dad

Dogs have shown to be man’s most devoted and loving companions, but when it comes to faithfulness, we can’t forget about Boncuck, a dog who waited outside a Turkish hospital for his closest buddy.

Boncuck chose to accompany his father, Cemal Senturk, to the Medical Park Trabzon Karadeniz hospital in Turkey on January 14. Since Cemal got unwell and had to be treated, the dog has become the most frequent visitor to the medical institution.

The dog is said to arrive every day about 9:00 a.m. and wait patiently at the sliding glass door, according to security employees.

The loyal dog was usually in the same spot, hoping to meet his closest friend again.

According to The Guardian, Cemal’s family took Boncuk home, but he refused to remain and continually returned to the hospital.

Cemal’s daughter, Anyur Egeli, told DHA:

“Even if we take him home, he runs away and returns here to wait for my father,” says the narrator.

Boncuck didn’t trouble anyone when he was at the hospital entrance; instead, he sat calmly waiting for a signal from Cemal. He never walked inside, and when the medical center’s door opened, he merely peered out to see whether Cemal was there.

Boncuck has been a patient in the hospital since his owner was moved, and the medical team has been impressed and affected by his loyalty. So, in his spare time, everyone brought him food and took the chance to greet him and provide him some support as he waited.

The dog’s attitude had such an impression that the hospital management convened a special meeting for Cemal and his devoted companion. The reconnection allowed the dog to enter the hospital and sit next to Cemal’s bed, where he was showered with affection.

Boncuk’s joy was palpable at the time, and his demeanor had changed; he just waggled his tail and grinned to see his father.
