After Years On The Streets, A Cat Knocks On The Door And Pleads To Be Allowed In

One Cat At A Time volunteer Jaelle instantly unlocked the door for the kitten to enter. The cat was starving, filthy, and seemed to be unwell.

She sought assistance from Marie Simard, the creator of One Cat At A Time.

Marie scribbled:

“We specialize in orphaned kittens at our rescue facility, but he was begging to be saved at the entrance, and we couldn’t keep him out.”

Marie continued, ”

“We looked for the owner but couldn’t discover a microchip. He was between the ages of 6 and 7, had never been neutered, and no one knew where he was. The former owners most likely abandoned it a long time ago.

Due to a series of health issues, the kitty was hurried to the clinic and had to be hospitalized for many days.

He was flea-infested, had scars, parasites, and dental issues; his hair was matted, and he had FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and respiratory tract illnesses.

Despite everything, the adorable kitten was overjoyed that someone was finally taking care of him, and he purred nonstop while undergoing medical treatment. The kitten’s tangled fur was shaved off by the charity’s veterinary experts, and he was given the proper medication, and he began to recuperate gradually.

After the lion from The Chronicles of Narnia, they called him Aslan. It’s unclear how he wound up on the streets, but he was quick to seek assistance.

Jaelle brought Aslan into her house after he was released from the veterinary facility to complete his treatment.

Marie had this to say:

«He is a wonderful person who is both nice and loving. He purrs gratefully and is overjoyed to be an indoor cat once more.

During Aslan’s rehabilitation, a resident of the foster home called Cleo took him under her wing and never left his side. She kept him company after his dental and eye surgeries, and she was always there to check what he needed and give him plenty of cuddles.

Jaelle had no intention of adopting another cat, but knowing how much Cleo and Aslan were needed, she couldn’t bear the thought of parting with them; they had grown inseparable.

Aslan was gradually earning his family’s hearts, and he may have known from the start that this was the place for him.

Aslan healed adequately during the following several months, and he was surrounded by feline pals every day, as though they played an essential role in his recovery.
