Perfect Pup Takes His Dad’s Hand To Cross The Street Safely

One of the earliest lessons taught to children is to be cautious when crossing the street.

And one particularly good puppy, spotted standing beside a busy road in Kathmandu, Nepal, has heeded the lesson.

Natalie Compton, an American journalist who flew to Nepal to walk up to Everest Base Camp, happened upon this dog.

Compton told The Dodo, “I had a couple days in Kathmandu before the hiking started.” “I’d discovered a nearby gym to continue my trip training, and I was relaxing outside the gym building after my workout. Kathmandu’s streets are fascinating to see.”

Compton had already started filming the cute puppy standing on the side of the road with his owner when she noticed him.

“Since I’d gone to town, I’d seen a million lovely dogs, some wearing sweaters, all extremely friendly and interested,” Compton recalled. “As a good dog-loving millennial, I started filming the dog just because it’s what I do.”

This safe-crossing puppy is just one of Nepal’s many adoring pets. Kukur Tihar, a holiday dedicated to honouring canine companions for their devotion and companionship, is held every year throughout the nation. Dogs are given gorgeous floral garlands and crowns to wear during this event.

Despite the fact that Compton has been all over the world and saw a broad range of astonishing occurrences, she shared the video on Twitter with the caption, “The most unexpected 15 seconds of my life by far.”

A buddy said, “I love that you started recording when it was simply an ordinary dog.” “It’s not like seeing a dog isn’t enough.”
